Tables and chairs of almost any type and quantity are available through Event Services. See below for table sizes and seating guide. If needed, Event Services can source specialty tables and chairs on your behalf.

  • Terminology Tidbit: Some standard industry terminology for tables:
    • Banquet: 30 inches wide
    • Seminar: 18 inches wide
    • Cocktail or Cabaret: 32 inches tall
    • Kiosk or Belly-buster: 42 inches tall
    • 8-Top, 10-Top, 12-Top: Seating 8 people at a table and so on
  • Food Service: Catering needs can often be overlooked. Their needs range from buffets and stations to kitchen and plating needs, captain's tables, and bussing tables. Please consult with your caterer for their table needs.
  • Tables Use: Remember registration tables, display tables, drink stations, and Internet stations. You can do more than just the "standard" setup, depending on the venue: ask an Event Manager for assistance or ideas.
  • Table Coverings: Event Services owns a variety of linen and plastic table coverings.

Plastic Table Coverings

Use disposable plastic table coverings as a low-cost alternative to table linens.

Plastic table coverings can be used for meals or for display and can be recycled for future events.

Linens

Linens and skirting are available for all occasions. Event Service's inventory is listed below, but we can source any size or color for your event.
