Grounds Services Staff of Certified Applicators

From the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR), we have a total of 12 people with a Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) in Maintenance. Throughout our specialty departments within Grounds Services, you will find several staff who have become certified in various categories.

The following Grounds staff are Department of Pesticide Regulation certified or licensed:

Julie Day, Horticultural Technician, holds a Qualified Applicator Certificate in Maintenance

Paul Hansen, Pest Management Leader, holds a Qualified Applicator Certificate in Maintnenace

During the last few months, there were nine additional certifications earned in Grounds Services. We would like to point out that among the newly certified staff, there were two candidates who put forth extra effort to successfully earn more than one certification simultaneously. Greg McCoy is double certified with an additional category of "Right of Way". Christopher McGilvery is triple certified with the additional categories of "Right of Way" and "Aquatics". Congratulations to everyone amid the hard work to achieve this goal.
