Buildings & Grounds Maintenance

Grounds Services has a total of five staff who are CLT certified (Certified Landscape Technicians). This certification comes from the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) in partnership with the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA), and is nationally recognized. The CLT certification demonstrates proficiency in the landscape workforce by identifying qualified professionals. For more information, go to the California Landscape Contractors Association.

Following are the Grounds Services staff who are CLT certified.

Carlos Ceballos is a Grounds Services Irrigation Specialist II and earned his dual certification of CLT Maintenance and Irrigation in 2007.

Andy Butcher is a Grounds Services Gardener and earned his CLT Maintnenace in 2006.

David Reed is a Grounds Services Irrigation Specialist II and earned his dual certification of CLT Maintenance and Irrigation in 2004.

Joe Riggs is a Grounds Services Leader of Academic Maintenance and earned his CLT Maintenance in 2004.

Julie Day is a Horticultural Technician and earned her CLT Maintenance in 1992
